Hydraulic and fluid power transmission systems subject to wide variations in temperature or where a limited change in viscosity is required as the temperature varies.
Some critical hydraulic systems can only tolerate small changes in viscosity as the temperature changes if efficiency and responsiveness are to be maintained. Hydraulic oils such as Mobil Univis N which offer multigrade viscosity characteristics can be advantageously employed in such circumstances.
